Lack of motivation

The first P2 exam is tomorrow, but for some reason I can't really seem to find the motivation to study for it.

Partly because the material isn't all that new.

The exam tomorrow is on Process and Operations Management, and after having spent 9 years in a manufacturing company, with some of those years dedicated to supply chain projects, so, I feel fairly OK with the basics.

Then, I can't really find the motivation to study for the Managerial Accounting exam on Friday either. A lot of it is about the allocation of overhead, costings, etc. My last couple of years working involved quite a lot of this, so once again I feel fairly OK with the basics.

And, let's face it - I'm not here to be a specialist in either of these fields.

But then, how can I explain my utter lack of motivation for the marketing exam coming up on Friday? An area I've had no experience of, and which, at the outset, I was quite keen on getting to know better?

Let's just hope that I get a dose of energy and motivation over the weekend, so that I make a half-decent job on the Corporate Financial Policy and Strategy exams, which I at least find interesting.

I'm probably staying here in Singapore until P4. French cold winter, who wants that...? Not even the guys currently in Fonty.

So, we're all looking forward to upwards of 200 of the Fonty guys arriving on campus for a period in the sun...
